happy summer! hey everyone ~ i hope you're having a good summer ;) ours has been especially HOT so far. we've had less than four inches of rain this whole year - and as a result, our yard has died a very sad, yellowy, burning death. i just can't seem to get into wasting so much water on grass that's going to die anyway once water restrictions go into effect. so, we have the worst looking lawn on the street - yay for us!!!!
lyle just finished MDO last week - it was bitterweet. he was in Ms. Heather's class for two years, and he loved it. i'm trying to get him excited about big boy school in the fall (pre-k), but i think he's a bit apprehensive about the whole deal. i'm trying to figure out what to do with my life once fall hits - grad school or a job or a store? so many options (kinda), but a pretty inflexible schedule - so that will make the decision difficult! sean is hoping to have a new job in the fall - wine manager - he's ready to get back into vino. he'll be much happier doing that, so we're keeping our fingers crossed ;)
that's it for now! lyle and i are off to houston to visit Tapu, Daddy Jim and Tater. Until we get back here's a pic of the bub with his buddies ;)
